Easy Personalized Letters
By Brittany

Target started carrying these adorable cardboard letters. When I saw them, I knew I had to buy them, but since I am so cheap, I couldn't justify spending $5 on them (told you I was cheap!) so I let my dream go. Well, lucky for me, they went on sale for $2! Being cheap pays off, literally, in the end. Haha, get it? I bought a T for my mom, Teresa, and a Z for our bathroom, but of course there was no B left, sad day:( I had some cute fake flowers left over from some random craft I did and loads of shells left over from a mermaid bra I made last Halloween. I got my industrial hot glue gun and got to work. They only took me about 10 minutes to make, if you don't include all the time I spent cursing myself every time I got burned (which happens A LOT with hot glue guns).
Supplies needed:
Cardboard Letters (you can always cut letters out from cardboard)
Hot Glue Gun
String (To Hang)
Flowers or Shells or Beads or ANYTHING (use your imagination)
Paint (optional)
First things first, paint the brown part of your letters if you don't want it to show through later. There's almost no way some of the letter won't show. Next, hot glue the **** out of your letter and try not to burn yourself while sticking on your various flowers, shells, etc. Once that is all done, flip your letter over and hot glue the string onto your letter to the desired length you wish it to hang. Marvel at how awesome you are at being crafty. Now give this awesome letter to someone as a present and secretly gloat knowing how easy it was!
